I Imagine

Do you ever lose yourself to your mind?

Dive in deep and feel alive?

Do you ever think about all that could be?

Or do you wish it were real in this reality?

I know I do,

I thrive where no one else can see,

I live in this world that no one else knows except me,

I could share it,

Tell the world what I love to create for myself,

But words cannot describe the magic I see,

It could not fully describe the world I created for me.

I do try though,

I write my worlds in ink and led,

I share my poems and my stories to the world,

Even though they do not fully describe how they should feel.

I save my books for later on,

Waiting for the right words to come to mind,

I would wait forever never letting the words go,

Not till I feel they can be enough to hold true to my worlds.

So do you ever imagine,

Do you ever live in your mind alone,

What worlds do you fail to share,

Kept in whispers, light as air?

I encourage you,

Don’t hide anything away,

Find the right way to say what you need to say,

I think many people would love to hear the words that are at bay,

Many people would like to hear what you have to say.
