The Guiding Flame

TheInnerLens

Through shadowed paths, I walked alone,
The chill of night chilled to the bone.
Yet in the distance, a light did gleam,
A quiet promise, a hopeful dream.

A whisper called, soft and true,
"Come closer now, I shine for you."
Its glow grew stronger, chasing despair,
A beacon of warmth in the frigid air!

The rhyme scheme is perfection. The words search and find positivity. A happy and safe ending. Really nice read. I hope to read more from you
