Robust and vast

Maplespal

Robust and vast

Sliding down the hill of life's dream site,
jumping up, grabbing, pulling, climbing the stars.
Watching the sun hide from the moons dark sided light,
poor creature was beaten and still has the scars.

Throwing comets at the milky ways unknown side,
drinking Pluto with a giant paper straw.
Sunglasses on, holding onto Neptune for a ride,
asteroids as chalk, for my minds pictures I draw.

Snowing down on the mountain slopes to the valley,
skiing around the blackholes and avoiding the craters.
The end zone holding the stars gathering for a rally,
they are celebrating the universes selfless skaters.

Day and night sit together having a shared meal,
right and wrong gambling on the moons hidden weight.
Both sides work out a fair and decent deal,
allowing all minds to dream and create.

Drifting through imaginations changing lands,
the morphing, twisting, re-imaging that is cast.
The views, the sights contract and they expand,
the imagination is robust, it is vast.

Varied thoughts are introduced as the poem evolves. Imagination is shown in the great imagery of the universe and familiar objects. A lovely cacophony of imagery in this poem
