A Fanfair Of Hot Air

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Trump "arguing" with Zelenskyy but who care?
Actors on the world's stage, a fanfare of hot air,
Musk's son said that Donald not the President,
In times like these, we're all so very relevant.
Sensing shifts of some sensory perception,
Downloaded from the cloud at about eleven.
Most wear masks, it's all cheap parlour tricks,
Voting a political party? - C'mon now, it's fixed!
Secret societies and slippy slithering snakes,
What is even real? - Sensing so many fakes.

It would be a fun read if it weren't real...... if it weren't fake......well you know what I mean.

Although intended as a fun read which in better times it would be, but the words are so true and a sad account of the world we live in, nicely stated

There's a bit of a James Bond film. Bond and Q are in a hot air balloon. Bond says to Q un-confidently: 'I trust you can manage this contraption'. Q says 'It goes by hot air'. Bond replies 'Oh, then you can manage it!' lol.

This was great. I agree fully with your message and it was delivered very well.
