Things Change,
Like the time of day,
Or the colour of the sky,
Sometimes it's not as small,
Sometimes they change your life.
Maybe you move,
Or graduate school,
Maybe you don’t go to school,
But stay at home and study alone.
I understand I get it,
My whole life changed in a year,
I moved,
I no longer go to a public school,
And I changed churches.
You don’t have to like the changes,
I know its hard,
But sometimes change is a good thing,
When I left that school,
Things were revealed to me,
I found out who my friends were,
The ones that really cared,
The ones that don’t care I left,
The ones that always will be there.
My new house is bigger,
I have my own room,
I can be mad,
Or cry when I have a bad day,
But I have the space to let out my insides.
See I may not like them all that much,
But its not all so bad,
Changes happen for a reason,
Just remember God’s plan,
Ask him for answers,
He won’t leave you blind,
He may not give you every detail,
But he will show you the upsides.
So it’s ok to be sad,
But don’t be mad,
Don’t be afraid,
Or resist the plan,
You’ll be ok,
You’ll be happier in the long run,
Just remember that change is usually good,
Things change.

- Comment from author about the poem: Things change whether its the time of day or moving away. Maybe it's finishing school or getting your first job. But things will change whether you like it or not. What matters is how you react to it.

Change is inevitable in all things from environment to emotions and in the long run is good. A wonderful write and attitude.
Excellent write
A very positive attitude to something that some people are afraid off, lovely uplifting write
