Who here doesn't know Hans the executioner?
Every child has known me for a long time.
The crowd applauded, guffawing, as a boofoner,
When I cut off the witch's head shipshape
I was sure: the dead does not take revenge,
But you dissuaded me, decedent Clara:
As soon as your soul rushed to hell, I pledge,
I became a victim of the devil's gift, sorry.
Once I was in love with a beauty poor,
But there was nowhere for both of us to start
I did as the law ordered me to do sure.
They let me know , it is more important than the heart.
Since then, one only girl - that’s death -
Follows me, comes to my house
grown.
My figure - long as a pole, straight,
Both old and young in the whole district do know.
I did as the law ordered me, above
But before the splashes had time to dry on my clothes,
I realized that I was in soor love,
Much stronger, much more passionately than previous.
My hand is strong and my spirit is firm,
I can rightfully be proud of myself,
It's just a pity: the devil won't return you to me...
And a new one like that - will not be born itself.
Since then, one only girl - that’s death
Follows me, comes to my house. grown
My figure - long as a pole, straight
Both old and young in the whole district do know.
I did as the law ordered me, above
But before the splashes had time to dry on my clothes,
I realized that I was in soor love
Much stronger, much more passionately than previous.
Unfortunately, I am not joking about this,
As well as about the fact that I chew bread for a reason:
I know everything that the executioner needs
And I chop off a head with one blow precision
My hand is strong and my spirit is firm,
I can rightfully be proud of myself,
It's just a pity: the devil won't return you to me...
And a new one like that - will not be born itself
