Epic

Alan R

It can never be mediocre

Can it?

You n me

Dignity, melancholy

At the border of Austria, Hungary

Catching sunsets

And evermore feelings

Much aware, much unwilling

To go on and chase

The convenient, the thrilling

And you said you would love to

Run around carrying me

All over this empty field

…Well and here we are

Holding back with shields…

At least, it was bearably windy

At least, it was beautifully sunny

At the border of Austria, Hungary

Never less than epic

You and me.

Memories wings grown strong with positive distortion are a beautiful sight to see. A phoenix risen out of burnt ashes of reality.

That wonderful place now resurrected & maintained for always within the glass dome of a poem .. just needs shaking occasionally .. Neville
