Goodbye

tkatie118

Judy:

I will love you for one last time,

Hear your voice in every thought I lose,

Right before I say goodbye

You’re the only piece of me,

Detached from a cold reality,

I will search for you in the stars tonight,

Right before I say goodbye

And when you smile, you break my heart,

Leave it there alone, and it will be torn apart,

I promised I won’t say goodbye

Lloyd:

Stand up, Stand up

Heal yourself, and you won’t fall apart

Reach for stars, there you will find my heart

Reality won’t sink in tonight

Judy:

Rise up, Rise up

Like the sun, you have the sense to warm what’s near,

To taste what’s near, To love what’s near,

But not the strength to say goodbye

Guide me home to your heart,

Cool and collected I feel

Lloyd:

You have the strength inside to conceal,

Judy:

But not the sense within to let go

You are all I’ve ever known,

Please love me, and stay with me

Just for one night,

You promised you won’t say goodbye

Lloyd:

Stand up, Stand up,

‘Cause everything is coming up,

Judy Hill

Everything could be just as good,

As it feels

Reality won’t sink in tonight

Judy:

Rise up, Rise up,

To love is nothing more than an illusion,

We feel,

Just like the ends of the earth,

It’s not real

But reality won’t sink in tonight

You are the only piece of me,

Detached from a lonesome reality,

I will hold you as we immerse ourselves,

Within the stars tonight

Both:

I promise I won’t say goodbye
