A Revisit To The Present

A Revisit To The Present

A few days ago, I had a moment of tranquility,

Tranquility from the chaos of my sanity.

I engaged myself in recreational undertakings,

And felt the essence of being self sustaining.

How joyous it was! When I mingled with fellow mates,

I feel strangled when the mental distress again plagues.

My own body and mind are tearing apart,

Failing to cooperate all at once.

Writing little things like this is the only way of my escape,

With no other things left in my chase.

A fellow spirit in this poem. Writing poetry is my therapy that serves me better than any therapist, and I ought to know being one. A wonderful message sent on how to appropriately vent. Loved the poem
