HOSPITAL

nephilim56

She leaves
The hospital
Entrance
Behind
Into cold
Daylight
Her car
To find.

In her hand
A pink waste bag
Bearing
Her fathers clothes
Barely six hours
Now deceased
The garments smell
Hospital and creased.

From dream
Into reality steps
Mortality bites
Grief is kept
Until she sits
In her car seat
Shes lost her dad
Now tears seep.

Wow! this conveys well the feelings and shock at loosing someone that close. The picture is painted well with olfactory as well as visual and auditory cues. A very well done poem
