The wind, soft and insistent,
wraps itself around my soul,
whispering the echoes of the Infinite—
and I realize, all is You.
The sky, vast and unbroken,
wears its purest blue,
shimmering like the first dawn of knowing.
No longer do the stars hide from my eyes,
and I wonder—
which one of them is not You?
They gleam so brilliantly tonight,
each a quiet beacon in the dark,
but perhaps it is only because
You are the Light within their light,
the silence within their song.
Something warm slips from my eyes,
a tear I did not expect,
and the wind—so gentle, so knowing—
carries it away before I can grasp its weight.
Longing is strange that way—
how it aches yet dissolves into peace,
like a shadow fading into dawn.
And I wonder,
does absence ever grieve its own illusion?
Why must the mind seek
what has never been apart?
It feels so distant—
so unbearably, endlessly distant—
yet You are near,
nearer than breath,
woven into the hush of all that is.
You are in the way the leaves tremble,
in the way the light falls softly on the earth,
in the way the world holds its breath
just before awakening.
Only the wind remains,
and the hush before spring—
but even now, even here,
I know,
I have never left Your embrace.

A beautifully written piece of their unquestionably faith, so well written
Lovely! There is no absence for true love it knows no boundaries of space or time. To one that loves the other is always with them. A wonderful poem.
