When The Day Comes

Jal

And when the day comes

I'll stretch across the lands

From the little grass

To the mighty oaks

Blue skies over sunny pastures

And when the day comes

I'll spread across the seas

Every single wave

Or passing of ships

And horizon under orange rest

And when the day comes

I'll shine as a desolate star

Racing as a comet

Or content as a hardy earth

Across eons as cosmic dust

And when the day comes

I'll become all that you'll see

Even if I never become another

Even if I never wake again

I'll be your own distant memory

I think that's a lovely write letting someone know that you will always be around, even in another life, nicely expressed
