Whispers at Dawn
James 4:14
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
Like a mist that greets the dawn, Fleeting, fragile, soon withdrawn.
Life appears, then fades away, A breath, a whisper, a fleeting stay.
Seek not tomorrow, cherish today, For in this moment, my heart shall pray.

A truly haunting verse whose power increases with every year and every birthdayππ»π
If only we as people could keep the thought in mind, perhaps we would treat each other better.
This poem does help bring it to the front of thought πππ»
Set in a new frame of Biblical verse the words Carpe Diem ring out. Nicely done
That is a parallel sentiment, but people often turn it into a "no quarter" kind of mindset.
BRAVO
Write on, Tony!
You're welcome
Well done and powerfully true message. Well done, friend! πΉπ
