Pawing At Nightfall

A Boy With Roses

Adrift in a state of isolation
Wearing you like an ominous sensation
I am a dog to the tone of your voice
Adrift in a state of self-destruction

I envy your dreams like old friends
Every thought I have remains the same
My fingers slip through, a dosage of sins
A place paralysed by the bells of madness
Sweet like a symphony of balloons
Crowded rooms, death rooms, just another allusion

Rules for me, rules for you
Idle words, perfume the stains
Perfect insomniac, with your bee-like instinct

I'll eat from your palms, the lies you tell
Read well, the infatuation you sell
In dreams of truth
In dreams of shame

I wrap around you like an invisible kiss
And I feel so fucking lost
I tell you I love you when I'm drunk
And you cure my fears, as I spill like ink
And I feel so fucking lost.
