For empaths are like street signs
That are often ignored;
I can't wait to tell you about my day,
Or do you care?
Oh please don't pretend to be my friend
For if you have to pretend, you have no value
There is a justice somewhere on this earth
But it is not often seen
Don't feel sorry for me, you're the problem!
Forget society...for society is an endless case
Behold the scared little child in the dark!
Are you terrified to know me?
Or are you terrified of shame?
Over and over my thoughts wander...
If you want to pretend
Go ahead! I don't care!
I don't care about your piece of crap monstrosity!
For society tries to please others...I don't
For I am a different breed of people
And you are not relevant in your lies
Sometimes it takes a strong person
To be an empath
And all hope is lost in the end
Because hope can be a disappointment
To the empath,
And maybe you're not an empath...you just care
Well whatever it is
I'm glad you have a heart
Whoever you are;
Let us hug each other
Every once in a while,
Does that sound good to you?
For most people don't care to know a good person,
Are we so terrified of knowing?
It's sad that there's no reason or rhyme
To actually make a good poem
Oh the beautiful ones just suffer; they suffer in the dark
For society has become an idol
To society,
And people don't want realness no more...
I praise God for being in my life,
For God is all I have
And I am perfectly fine with that
For there is death in validation
Do you know the art of one's self?
I shall build a castle of empathy
Just for me...
Dear God I am the value of my worth!
For I may be homeless to society
Yet I have a home
You matter to the world, don't you think so?
We all matter
But most of us just don't want to see it;
We don't want to see the value in ourselves
Yet the sun is shining bright,
I feel worthy of myself, don't you?
The value of one's home
Is in their value,
Distance yourself from the negative...but you can't
I don't want to be a part of a society
That doesn't dig me,
Well maybe I'll become a role model to someone...
If you see me on the street, I have a home
A castle made of fine linen.
Shall I give you a rose to take home?
For my rose is valuable, don't you want it?
My tears aren't dry.
