Focusing out of distraught
I had to pause the screen of flakes,
slow them down as I breathe.
Moment all of them as my view intakes,
and follow them before they leave.
These moments of focus at its strength,
allow hundreds at once to be known.
Follow each along my views length,
acknowledge the images to me shown.
Locked in, zoned out from the world,
focused only on flakes in sight.
The wind brings some twisted and swirled,
I'm watching all the snow fall tonight.

This poem gives a hint in the first line that the snow being mentioned is on the screen. That old time vision on the television is now lost to new generations but late night fuzz or disconnected static is easy to zone out to. Good write
I remember those TV's and yes I used them for the same purpose. New TVs are not as useful as the old ones. Now it is down to the snow and rain.
