Fleeting Horizons

Serra

While I tried to wait for my turn
For all the things I ever wished for
I saw and felt everything was slipping off
But nothing of it, really was mine
I loved them and thought it belonged to me
Little did I know what I loved is already taken

So i let it go and choosed ME
With the days passing my ME choosed Him
Now the days seemed brighter and blue
Nights were warm and dreamy
 my longing silent and untold
but it was beautiful
Pretty as sunset
 ethereal like a sunrise
Happiness meant a glance,
 sadness was an absence

Look my dear i cautioned myself
why again to suffer the same old misery
But trust me I felt this was unlike the rest
My heart like a sunflower took Him it's sun
And there you go busy with the heliotropism
Let alone my body ,it luminesced my soul

Stop there , not to my startle
but this too was ephemeral
In a pinch , there was nothing
Yeah a nebulous u may say
Being way too bad at defenestration
Worry not I have done masters at feigning
I choosed it and I loved it
I freed it but the LOVE remained .

The pain is felt but the loss of one may result in greater love for another. Well written
