The Life Of A Little Dog

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Woof, woof, yap and all that other crap,
Sniff and lick, piss, piss and shit.
The Life of a little dog,
Backwards it's God.
High perception senses,
Leg cocked up on fences.
Lead along with a wagging tongue,
Chewed on furniture, not aware done wrong.

I quite like little terriers, Jack Russells, etc. I see two friendly cockapoos at the shops sometimes.

You have incorporated several facts, word plays, and an amazing animal into one poem that is humorous in its truth. Lovely and a fave
