As a young girl, I would wander,
I would pretend that I was free,
I would pretend to be Miss Collins
Bold as brass,
But laced with vulnerability
I was a silly little girl,
Who with life prolonged the turn
Towards imagination -
And held hostage the righteous integration
But I grew,
And found a way
To change a life by use of brain
Transfixed by a new horizon
With use of hand,
A lightning path, enlightened,
By the tears of sand
It’s time to be the lady of the wave
As a young girl, I saw Cindy,
With lessened complexity
Evil, a villain
Deprived of morality
A blonde with a careless heart,
Lives she tore apart
Transfixed by a new horizon
Now I’ve grown, I see the light,
Out she goes, goodbye, goodnight
Transfixed by a new horizon
Walking on an enlightened path,
To illustrate how faith’s detached
It’s time to be the lady of the wave
Now I am a writer,
Using strength to bring you home
You’re out there, it’s a comfort
To know I’m not alone
Translated through a wave,
I know I’ll be okay
Utilise education…
To change the souls detached through death,
So they may rise up again
Translate a new horizon
Harmonising liberty,
Strategise serenity
It’s time to be the lady of the wave
You’re depriving liberty by monetising feeling,
Without courage,
You’re one less soul to save
