DAMAGED

nephilim56

No rainbows
In a darkened sky
The sun and moon
No longer fly.
You damaged nature
With your lies
Deceit deep within
Those sparkling eyes.

My structures fell
Foundations bare
No bird song
No sweetened air
My words in pain
Unhealed untreated
Free of conscience
You went unhindered.

Moments wept
Into their hands
The silent wave
Nudged shorelines sands
And silence
That bitter foe
You damaged nature
You must know.

Quite the concept contained in this poem empowers people more than I imagined. A most thought provoking poem. Lovely

To me it reads like betrayel and a broken heart. I really enjoyed this. Nice write.
