Eye of the Storm

dyslexic.gun

I live in a happier time

There's a rainbow that glows

Within my rhymes

Though the storms of my past

Haven't passed me by

These are just the better signs

Maybe it's because of my luxurious lying

Cuz only a mask of malicious intention

Could cover pleasure of wanting to bring out

Joys in all conditions, but

It feels as if the actions had failed to mention

Though the thunder crashes as the wind bellows

I can sit in these forgotten meadows

And remember the cooler, calmer, clever fellow

One who didn't shy away from hellos

Because his worth was in vinculos

So even though the ground grows hungrier

I remind myself I need a bite to eat

Because the lightning strikes on specific beats

So I remind myself to move feet

Because the eye of my storm is natures furious melodies

So I remind myself it lives with me
