That inner voice

evenwheniLie

…..Some thoughts are just a reflex of the mind, suggestions from inanimate objects but that’s a lie, cause objects can’t speak or can they, surely it hails from deep within our own minds; is it god that’s whispering in my ear all the time, a continuous chime, no wonder Buddhist monks talk about stilling the mind all the time, the mind lies, grandma always said if a man speaks too long you can bet somewhere in there he done told a lie.

Ah such a mind provoking write. Lies are no more than deluding oneself or others about something you know to be otherwise. Everyone from advertisers to politicians to preachers do the same and don't we too when we say (nice to meet you, what a lovely dress, have a nice day)? A wonderful write.

Thanks; and yes lies are a intricate part of our day, one could call it human
