Impatient for the Night

dyslexic.gun

It seems to be harder

To fall asleep at night

And not because the dark

Gives me a great fright

But because it sets the scene

For a nice walk through the park

Or maybe reach the after-burning

That's been waiting since that first spark

Because at night we don't seem to carry

All the morning shame and snarky parry

But just ourselves in the ordinary

Even though the night is magics ferry

Night calms seems to be the theme of this poem and so it does for me as well. Nicely done

Some people are much more at ease at night when the world slows down others are not, enjoyed the read
