the small things

xqw

Take my truth as light as you want

The small things -

The half-second pause

The lingering glance

the laughter that shifts

not everyone, but everyone white

a chorus of inaudible sighs

a conversation I was never meant to join

A door held open, not wide enough

Sorry to those I offend

my truth is a jagged thing

something that doesnt fit into polite hands

But all my bridges are burnt

all but one

and a single bridge does not unmake an ocean

p.s. this is just my experience dont come at me pls if you disagree you can ignore it im just saying what i think as of now i can be wrong too
