The Golden Embrace

Mohammad Younus

Our dawn arrives,
a magnificent splash of gold,
brushing rooftops with liquid fire,
turning even the humblest hamlet
into a city of light.

No wall too worn,
no door too frail,
to escape the sun’s gentle touch—
it crowns all equally,
draping the world in radiance.

And as the day exhales,
dusk, no less divine than dawn,
leans upon the horizon with a golden smile,
whispering farewells in hues of amber,
never fading—only passing,
leaving behind a promise to return.
