My Brother

There were ups and many downs
Your laughs and then there were frowns
You are my inspiration, that’s the truth
I am sorry everything went not to plan, in your youth

I am sorry for that I was not there for you
Now, I will be always ready to give you a hand in whatever you do
Though, I don’t sometimes agree with what you do and say
I will always back you up, throughout the days

Good things will come in your way, you see
Bad times WILL let you be and you WILL be free
Whatever comes at you, grab it with two hands
That is what I am going to do now, with no commands

You know that mum and I will be always here
We cant change life, simply life is mere
As you leave, I am trying not to let my emotions show
I am wishing that life will let you flow

You have taught me a very important lesson
I am very ashamed of myself, but life has to go on
You taught me to appreciate what I have got
And, don’t dwell over things that are supposedly not

I have realised that you have set me straight
You reminded me, I have got to pull up my weight
