Sterling is a new character of many traits. A kind hearted man; helping others in his community. Whatever it takes. He moved to his small town over a decade ago. One things for certain; in tough times; this place never gets old. Sterling lost his parents about six months ago. He’s since thrown himself in his work. Staying busy. Trying hard to let go. He took good care of both of them for their last five years. It was the least he could do for them. He’s shed too many tears. Sterling has decided to keep to himself for now. Handling his pain the only way he knows how. Is this something that could be worked out? I guess you’ll just have to wait and find out!

The beginning of a new story and a new character. Nice introduction.

My mom passed in 2008, dad just over 3 years ago in December of 2021. I know personally how hard it can be to let go and get back into the swing of things. If you are not feeling it, you just can't pretend to enjoy life. But eventually you know when it feels easier and more natural without even realizing it. When my dad passed, I had no interest in going out with friends for any reason. I went to work, and straight home. I think at some point my dad was telling me it was time. Nice to know they are still connected to us. 😉👍
Grief is the hardest part of life. I am sorry for your loss. Yes; our loved ones are never far from us!
