Sadness

Oh, the sadness

In the walls...

the sadness in the halls...

and we're all...

Waiting, to breathe.

  • Comment from author about the poem: when you find a locked building, tight, no escape for the hurting, innocent, and others; know you have not found something to find, but of the blind, the lost, the hurting (ones in charge). this purgatory, will it, does it purge the hearts of the ones in charge daily, opening eyes to the pains this building is causing, or does it all just sleep on in a slump, a behemoth of mistakes and wrong ways and backwards thinking of a yesteryear, almost forgtten by some, but never by the damaged, the trapped, the stuck, the chemicalized - the prisoners.
