In the town of Hunt-Happy, where trees twist and twirl,
Lived a wild bunch of hunters, both boy-ish and girl.
They’d scamper and scurry with lists in their hands,
For a Scaven-Junt Hunt across marvelous lands!
There was Sneaky-Snook Sally with eyes like a hawk,
And Bumbly-Boo Bert, who would chatter and talk.
“We’ll find all the treasures!” they’d shout with a grin,
“The hunt’s on, it’s on, let the madness begin!”
“Find a rock with a wiggle, a leaf with a bend,
A feather that tickles, a sock with no end!”
The list was a puzzle, a riddle, a tease,
So they dashed through the bushes and climbed up the trees.
Sally peeked in a hollow, Bert poked in a brook,
They found spoons that could whistle and hats with a hook.
“Oh, the things we’ll discover!” they sang in a cheer,
“A bottle of fizz and a bell for your ear!”
Through the Whizzle-Whack Woods and the Tangle-Tong Plains,
They raced with their giggles, ignoring the rains.
Till at last, with their loot piled high in a stack,
They returned to Hunt-Happy, no treasure held back.
“What a Scaven-Junt Hunt!” cried the crowd with a roar,
“We’ve got trinkets and baubles and oddments galore!
In Hunt-Happy Town, where the fun never ends,
We’ll hunt every day with our Scaven-Junt friends!”
