Lost in sedation
Grey matter libations
Visions in his mind
Mental lacerations
No escaping the waves
Unconscious
Yet, he's awake
Spiraling under
Stumbling through the maze
Lost in translation
Your words
He tries to speak
No broadcasting station
Turning dials
Auto seek
Eyes start to wander
Rolling back in to wonder
Crackling through the sky
Electro shock plunders
Shocking in sanity
Starry eyed night
White room surrounding
Not dead but not alive

Here is a poem that may be taken many ways that echo the uncertainty of the topic. I love the word play (in sanity) just a little push and it becomes insanity. Electro shock has been found to do this at times. The in between awake, asleep, aware and not sane and not where is the difference? What scale do we use to measure it? A very thought provoking poem loved it very creative a fave
Thank you so much!
A cleverly crafted and very interesting write on the thin dividing line between sanity and insanity, certainly makes your mind question, enjoyed the read
