In the rain, I stand before you
Exposed and vulnerable, yet unafraid.
I yearn for your gaze, your eyes alone
To see the real me, stripped of pretenses shown.
You are my solace, my heart's reprieve
With one glance, my soul skips a beat.
I bare my soul, with all its fears
And find my strength in your loving tears.
Beneath my façade, I'm fragile and worn
Longing to scream, to let my emotions torn.
But with you by my side, I feel protected and safe
Your strength uplifts me, a shelter from life's raging wave.
As rain and tears entwine, my face stings with pain
Yet, in your eyes, I find love's soothing rain.
Baby, I want to show you, to reveal my true self
To stand before you, naked, and be loved for who I am, no wealth.
