DREAMER

nephilim56

The fiery tail
Of a fading dream
Where night time ends
Sleep recedes
The distant road
Of thought it slows
Your voice still heard
In monotone.

Strangers faces
From inner realm
Melt like candles
Grease to send
Memories wrapped
Like wire bales
Sharp and course
Pointed nails.

The dreamer still
In fantastic lands
Hearts to touch
Surf licked sands
The higher skies
Drift on by
The flickering
Of dreaming eye.
