Passion Play

cassiopeiaxneptune

To be human,
is to see everything and nothing
all at once.

The great map of existence?
It lies before me,
like a road I've walked in dreams.
The currents of the world?
They flow through me,
like wind through open fields.

And life itself?
It feels like a play of passion—
acted from a distance,
as though I'm watching us all
from the edge of the stage.

We don't question miracles,
or complain about how they're not
what we envisioned them to be.

Come with me,
stay with me,
be with me...

I've seen so much,
but there's so much more...
and no one—
I'd rather see it with.

I'd go anywhere and everywhere with you.
It's one of the deepest truths of my life.

Will you follow me?

For I cannot wait
to share the world with you.

There's still so much to see...

A beautiful poetic invitation in this poem. Nicely penned it calls out.
