Stolen Love

Courtnie McKern

Fair maidens gown on hushed lips flow

While lilies dance in cosmic glow

Requited love from kingdoms far

Her handsome knight wanders by star

To find his way, back in her arms

Ripped asunder by witching charms

Under a spell and led astray

A foolish weakness, a dawning betray

Once a vibrant, ebullient soul

Her vestige heart now pays the toll

She waits each nite in desolate wake

For loves return from harsh forsake
