I wish I had known you were blind
I was painting pictures you could never see
Visions that have been stuck in my head
Since the day I met thee
We would laugh and joke about the world around us
About the clutz of being me
And about times our love was given for free
It pains me that I could not notice
I would tell you about the clouds
And how amazing it was
When they were beneath our feet
Only me with you allowed that feat
I would sing songs of the improbable
While you swayed and sang it’s impossible
Maybe I was outta tune
So I would practice at the moon
I wish I had known you were blind
Because I would have showed you
How amazing it was
When you can see what you find
When you put two universes together
You heard it all, but it held no matter
My songs of swoon did nothing but flatter
Because you could only see
My bleeding heart on a platter

A poem of unrequited love that still bleeds onto the page. A poem of loss put in such poetic terms
A very poetic way of declaring there undying love for someone they have lost, lovely write
