This Very Moment

cassiopeiaxneptune

You see,
that's the best thing about reality...
it's all real,
you see it so clearly.

So why do you always
look for flaws?
It's already flawed with imperfections.

So how can you be so blind
when you see it the way you do?

It's like you don't even have the sight
to know if it's really there,
because, in the end...
it's all fake.

Like it's not even there anymore...

And you know what the worst part is?
You so desperately want it to work out,
when that's all you can ever get from it—
because that's how life works.

It's simply how life... is.

You just have to live in it,
go through the bad parts
to get to the good—
because, in the end...
it'll all be worth it.

And it's okay if things don't work out
the way you want them to...
because that's how you'll know
that you lived.

The good life, the bad life...
it doesn't even matter
because it's all the same—
already perfectly imperfect,
just as it always has been.

Because you were the one
who got through it...
to get to where you are right now.

And in that moment,
you feel... satisfied.
Happy. Content.

At peace, if you will...

And finally, you realize—
all you've ever wanted
is to be right here, right now...
in this very moment in time.

Because nothing gets better than this,
nothing feels better than this,
and nothing—
will ever compare to this.

What matters is that you are alive—
and will always
look back on this very moment,
remembering how much you lived,
how much you will keep on living...

Until you realize...
you already are.
