The Death Of Grandma Lonnie

mtrotter1

Fall, old woman, fall...

For there are a thousand roses in the air

And Christmas trees are lit

In the staggering breeze,

I am a rose that's honored

My petals fall for you

And the dryness of the thorns

crumble...

Do I have any power over you?

Is there any pressure at all?

For I wear God's armor

Every single day

Behold the stars in daylight;

Fall, old woman, fall

For I tremble just like you

As I wear my white gown in the summer

And ten thousand roses fall,

So I place between the pages a kiss

And these words shall live forever

And your death shall be forgettable

For you are the devil's snitch

And all the world will hate you...

I promise

For I am a child of truth

Fall, old woman, fall...

For there are a thousand dead roses

untouched;

Ten thousand roses are alive

And the bells are singing!

I cry out loud for you

In the garden of doom,

For the garden of doom is ugly and gray

Like you my darling grandmother

And you shall die unpeacefully

In your hell full of harlots,

So go to hell Grandma Lonnie!

Go to hell unpeacefully...

Alas the storm has come

And the Christmas trees have fallen

And the heartless prudes have

come to see

The reckoning of your demise,

Behold the reckoning of your demise!

For it is so brutal

And life is a holiday we can't get back

The stars are ugly

I hope you know

And all the trees are falling

Were you raised by a harlot

In the winter snow?

Did you have any feelings at all?

I am touched by the pain you've caused

For grandpa's body is unknown

Oh what a perfectly dysfunctional union

It shall be,

You and the bearing tree.

Such hardships die alone

And I just want you to know

That I loved you once,

And when I get married

I won't think of you...

That's if I get married

For stars don't align at the threshold,

And why don't the roses fall anymore?

Yet you are still here

Falling in my dreams

Once more.
