Who created numbers?
Was it done over multiple summers?
Two of them are unlike any of the others.
Flip a six and see what you might find,
I'm overthinking all of the time,
Think why is nine upside down?
I just wanted to be the class clown.
Don't bother asking your teacher a question,
They believe in the nightly news at eleven.

Clever, this poem delves deep into the issue of codified education and the lack of interest to teach what really matters. Very nicely done a fave
Cheers! Glad you liked it.
They teach so much today that is of no use to children at all, instead of educating them on how to deal and survive in the real world, is the curriculum or quality of teacher, enjoyed the read
Totally agree, thank you!
You are very welcome
Excellent write
Cheers mate.
You're welcome
I thought I won the bingo with my final number of 9 - but it was an underlined '6' ball. Boohoo! LOL.
Subversive much in the same way Floyd's The Wall is. Brilliant my friend. Loved this. Gets a fave from me.
Thanks pal.
You're welcome!
Oh, my friend, you aren't ready for this... the letters b, p, d, and q, are all the same shape!
Haha yes! Your right! 😅
