If you Face the rainy season
With fewer sighs and grunts
It will be a cheerful dance
During the summer months
Dancing in the rain
Will keep depression at bay
And you will feel confident
To face, come what may…
And when the sun shines
And all is truly bright
Your happiness will then soar
In the sky like a rising kite
So
Be strong , Be brave
Let your steps have a spring
It will, then, for sure
Much peace of mind bring

I remember dancing in the rain when I was younger now I just walk quickly so as not to get as wet. When the temperature is good dancing in the rain is joyous. A lovely write.
thanks for the feedback. in my younger days i too often used to dance with joy and enjoy the rain, now with age, as you have rightly written, i too try not to get wet, to avoid catching a cold.
so i feel, when and if you can, do enjoy it.
have a beautiful day
Now that is a uplifting and very positive write, and there is a kind of magical freedom that comes with dancing in the rain, enjoyed the read
yes, you do feel release from tension, but with age against me, dancing is not an option - though enjoying the rain is
Ah, itβs a rare occasion when rain is not happy or filled with excitement and dance but it can mute the mood as well. An excellent note to remind whenever it becomes necessary. ππ»π
here, in the festival of Holi, we have rain dances in our society, which i used to enjoy thoroughly, but now am careful about, so as not to fall ill.
so yes - rain can be uplifting, or dampen the mood when you are feeling low
Courage, Merry. Courage!
that is what i need these days..
thanks for stopping by
You\'re welcome. For courage, I find praying from a place of faith helps. And igniting the digestive fire in the solar plexus!
you are absolutely right, though it is easy to come by on some days - and on some - it just seems to have disappeared
