half open half closed eyes

xqw

eyes.

half open, half closed

and I can't close them

Feet limp

Head laid back

Cold.

Still.

Pale.

Death took them

through length of life

The small fight left.

It remains curled behind their half-closed eyes.

Never to rest in peace.

suspended

between the breath of life.

And the silence.

of death.
