A Petal for His garden

[email protected]

One of God's petals has been taken for His garden,
And in your place of absence,
A lessen our hearts must harden.
Simple words of comfort, now replace your name
and the beauty we remember, are now His to reclaim.
Some say your mission over but I'll say it just began
for only on this earth
have you stood your last stand.
One of God's petals, has been taken for his garden,
If I keep in mind your smiles,
my grief will soon pardon.
Yet it’s hard to say farewell, I seek to find relief
and memories that dances makes all
heartaches brief.
This small prayer I'll say, as I bid my last
farewell,
"May God's garden stay loved, where all His
flowers dwell."
