Listening to silence

Maplespal

Listening to silence

Tic, tic, tic as the second hand moves,
silent enough dropping in the grooves.
Drip, drip, drip as the tap leaks,
silent enough hearing water to me speak.

So much in so little. As the noise diminishes the acuteness of hearing increases and so it is with many things. A lovely write
