torchlit love speaks
unbidden unhidden unwritten
I have always known you
beyond all that is human
your embroidered silhouette
finger printed fingertips
Venusian vined
it is almost your birthday
I tiptoe out into this perimeter
vaguely remembering
velocities of depth
liaisons untamed
as soft as a gentle subtle breeze spoke
I have always belonged here
yond mirrors and combs
two spears collide
vagabond troubadour
three times more
from his chest
night shade grew
in mantic dusk
we meet again
I delved into
his lapis lazuli
a dervish fire
waits for us

So much hidden here. This indeed is a different world an inner world perhaps but with so much of this. Most lovely in its imagery and well developed, what appears disjointed is united here. The more one reads it the more meanings it takes on
Thank you Soren, indeed many details , my poems sometimes open as a pandoras box, and some I have written engage in endless emerging. Glad you enjoyed the read!
What a delightful poem.I love the word images and the cadence is musical. An enjoyable read
Thank you David, in many ways indeed this is a poem that is more about the melody interwoven we never know where the muses might take us do we...
This is quite lyrical/musical and feels like a dance as one reads it. The imagery paints quite the scene. Well done on this, my friend! 🌹👏
Thank you Tristan, anything otherworldly gladly will dance though my poems, or at least in this one all is dancing, happy to know you enjoyed the read!
Indeed...and I love dancing. Which is why I love your poetry! Glad our paths have crossed, friend. You are most welcome! 🙏🖤
Likewise Tristan. Perhaps I was Isolde in a former life....Dancing is many things, among others Joy. May you have a lovely day full of twirling moments!
Indeed, my friend. Quite the joy it is. May you have the same! 🖤🙏
