Dreamt I was jousting with the devil,
Listening to music with barely any treble.
A misunderstood mind on a righteous path,
My story makes people uncomfortably laugh.
Some friends aren't meant to remain in our life,
None of these girls I could picture as my wife.
I get a gut feeling when something is wrong,
The Holy Spirit is still within us all day long.

A fun read of rhyme that flows as it amuses
Thank you.
A fun and entertaining read and for those of faith an important last line, enjoyed the read
Appreciate it thank you.
You are very welcome
I've had a few weird dreams of late.
Oh really? I always seem to have them.
Love it
Thanks pal.
You're welcome
That last part...I concur! Well done, my friend. Wonderful poem with a fun rhyme scheme. 🌹👏
Thanks pal, interestingly I found out the title Jousting with the Devil has been used before but I was unaware.
You are most welcome, Shaun. LOL! Oh well. Good thing titles can't be copyrighted...so you should be in the clear, unless it is trademarked, which I would highly doubt. Still, as it says in Ecclesiastes, nothing new under the sun! Case meet point. 🤣
Haha yes indeed.
