Peculiarly Lauren

You touched my soul so deeply that even in your absence, I still feel your fingertips all over my heart.

There is always a disconnect between the heart and the mind. Each rules in its own way, in its own domain. Quite often the heart overrules the mind. Whereas the mind keeps us safe most of the time, the heart can lead us to trouble. But the powers of the heart are such that sometimes we are its prisoner.
