We Plead oh Lord

Why do you stand far off?

Why do you hide yourself in time of trouble?

Why do you turn your ears away?

Why do you shut your eyes from us?

In our distress the wicked man hurts, 

Did you not see them?

In our pain he boast about his evil works,

Did you not see the evil works?

The evil says "nothing will ever shake me"

The lord will not save you.

He has watch us in secret like an owl,

He wants to make us his victims.

His ways are always prosperous,

His mouth is full of lies a d threats.

Trouble are under his tongue,

He murder the innocent.

Arise, lift your hands, o God,

Do not forget us, for we are helpless.

See the trouble of the afflicted, oh God,

Consider our grief and take us in hands.

Why does the wicked man revile you?

Why does he say you won't see him?

You won't call him to account!

Nothing will ever shake him, why?

You listen to our cry, oh Lord!

Defend us, our lovely father.

Hear our desire oh Lord!

Take us in your arms, our father.

You will now rise,

You will protect us from those who malign us.

Your words are flawless,

Like gold refrined Seven times.

You will keep the needy safe, 

And protect us forever.

You will give light to our eyes,

We trust in your unfailing love.

Our heart shat rejoice like agels,

Because of your righteousness and salvation.

And we shall sing praises to you,

For you have been faithful,o

h Lord.
