It Has to Begin Somewhere

Accidental Poet

 Love

There at the beginning of time

From the creator himself

His original design

We speak of it

But not enough

Seems we’re preoccupied

Hell bent on looking tough

Look around you

The need never more

To end the hatred

The talk of war

Countries that used to be allies

Now rivals instead of friends

Defending borders

Where does it end?

They say love can heal all things

I believe that to be true

But it has to start somewhere

How about with me and you

For it lives within us

There in our hearts

Let love heal the world

Before we tear it apart

Ah you have spoken the secret. A great poem that tells people that the responsibility lies within them. Yes the answer they hold in their hands. A poem of truth and the key to peace lies in everyone's heart. Beautiful

How important those initial stages of germination and inception are so important and formative 🙏🏻🕊️
