Blossom falls like soft snow
falling from many tender twigs
tho far away from winter
falling sometimes
resting
staying without the helpless feeling of disappearing
it stays in the sun
allowed the warmth from the sky to rest on its soft petals
relaxing by its home
still in the same space
maybe not on those tender twigs
where it blossomed from
but below
beside its home
so close
and that’s where it is happy
in the place it knows
and in the place that cares

That is a lively write, our blossom tree is doing that as we speak, enjoyed the read
Thankyou very much .. it’s nice to see . The cats have been in the garden today , too and a blackbird ..
The sun brings everything to life have a great week
Do not blame you for changing location. What a beautiful poem and metaphor that came out of that location. Well done, my friend! 🌹👏
Yeah , it was very loud .. i guess sometimes we can feel kind of at home when we’re out in nature .. it made me feel better just to get outside and listen to the birds .. that noise was too loud
Thanks for the comment
Indeed. Nature is always much better than the sound of drilling and hammering. Glad you could escape. You are most welcome, my friend.
Proximity to home is an important part of tranquility. Very nicely written
Thankyou.. I don’t always feel at home here .. sometimes I feel a bit lonely and miss people. Nature is comforting tho and so much nicer being outside than in the house listening to that loud noise
Thanks for the kind comment
I too seek nature to feel at home You are most welcome
