Abuse

Tony36

Her wounds my heal

But some scars never will

Mental scars

Emotional scars

Her wounds may heal

But the damage is done

She will never be the same again

Physicaly

Mentaly

Sexualy

Emotionaly

Abuse by someone she thought she could trust

His wounds my heal

But some scars never will

Mental scars

Emotional scars

His wounds may heal

But the damage is done

He will never be the same again

Physicaly

Mentaly

Sexualy

Emotionaly

Abused by someone he thought he could trust

Abuse comes is many forms

It can happen to either gender

No matter their age

It is a shame people get treated like this

Especially from those they were supposed to trust

It is those we trust that have the key to abuse the most. A powerful write

I would favorite it because it's a true message, but it feels wrong to even have to say it.

A true and urgent write, Tony. Indeed, abuse happens most by those who are known well and trusted. A sad reality that your poem highlights. Well done! πŸŒΉπŸ‘

A powerful write, Tony. However, would you agree that scars are not immortal?
