SOUL

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

Misty skies
Reflect from eyes
Another time
Another place
A lost
Dimension.

The swaying trees
The Autumn breeze
Whispers sweetly
As twilight takes
The hours
Turning hand.

The fall of lace
Alcohols bitter taste
In moonlight now
Triumphant
Haloes
Thirst.

The characters
Of night
Music burning
Bright
Caress the fingers
Of latticed soul.

An unknown road
Which leads
Covered by
Falling leaves
Silence rests its head
Upon my shoulder.

Intriguing poem. Is it metaphorical? Laced with mystery. Read it twice. It has a rhythmic quality to it. Interesting write!
